Highways Design Manager*Team Leader
Location: West Midlands; Birmingham
A major consultancy`s Birmingham highways team requires an experienced Highways Design Manager to add to the existing strong team of highways professionals. The role will entail team leadership and junior project management of major new build highways schemes under HA framework tasks. You will report to the Highway Department Manager in this close, successful, well established and passionate team.
Significant experience gained in highway design, drainage design and bills of quantities for scheme costing are mandatory for this role. It is expected that the correct individual will be able to see a clear career path to either key account management or project management if so desired.
A good degree in Civil Engineering or ICE accredited subject; MICE chartered status or very near to chartered status; CAD*Design experience using any or all of the following; AutoCAD, MX*MOSS, WinDes*MicroDrainage are all required of the candidates.
You should also be a proactive, motivated, conscientious person with developed team leadership skills.
